At Bootstrap.ph, we believe that building a resilient company starts with cultivating strong minds and healthy bodies. That’s why we laced up our running shoes and hit the pavement with the Founders Running Club Manila (FRC) last April—and we haven’t looked back since.
On May 24, 2025, we took our FRC journey a step further by joining our very first Sip & Spin event, an inspiring Saturday morning experience that blends wellness, connection, and creativity. Hosted at the scenic Opus Mall Bridgetowne and energized by great coffee from Single Origin, the event brought together founders, investors, creators, students, and startup enthusiasts who all share one thing in common: the drive to keep moving forward.
Our Running Journey with FRC Manila
Our partnership with FRC Manila began in April, when a few members of the Bootstrap.ph team joined a casual weekend run. What started as a simple way to stay active quickly evolved into something deeper—an opportunity to engage with fellow entrepreneurs in a low-pressure, high-energy setting.
Whether you’re a seasoned startup founder or just finding your footing, the early-morning runs offer more than just physical benefits. They provide a space to reflect, connect, and share stories with like-minded individuals navigating similar challenges.
First Sip, First Spin
Attending our first Sip & Spin was the perfect way to celebrate our growing bond with the FRC community. After logging a solid morning run, our team joined other runners at Single Origin for freshly brewed coffee, breakfast bites, and live DJ beats that set the tone for casual yet meaningful conversations.
More than just a post-run hangout, Sip & Spin is a space where ideas flow as freely as the espresso. It’s where founders talk about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next. For us at Bootstrap.ph, it was a chance to hear real stories from people building products, solving problems, and grinding just like we are.
